How to Initiate a Return

Return Policy

Return Window: You may initiate a return within 15 calendar days from the date of receiving your items. Unfortunately, returns requested beyond this timeframe will not be accepted.

Condition of Items: All returned items must be in their original packaging with all parts included. Items that have been installed, unpacked, altered, are custom-made, made-to-order, or purchased during a final sale, as well as items damaged without valid proof of a logistic mishap, are not eligible for return. This also applies to individually purchased shades, bulbs, or accessories.

Final Sale Items: All purchases made during our Final Sale Event are final and cannot be returned, exchanged, or canceled.

Eligibility for Return: We accept returns for items that are broken, defective, non-functional, or different from what was ordered. We recommend inspecting your order upon delivery to ensure it meets your expectations. To initiate a return, please contact us via email at support@decorillum.com. Once your return request is approved, we will provide further instructions. Unsolicited returns will not be accepted.

Proof of Purchase: Please include your receipt or proof of purchase with your return package to expedite the refund process.

Replacement: If any of the above issues are present, we will prioritize sending a replacement item.

Unavailability of Replacement: If a replacement cannot be provided, you have the option to receive a full refund or store credit.
Cancellations
- Cancellation Window: You may cancel an order within 72 hours of placement, unless it is a custom item or special order. If your order has already shipped, it cannot be canceled and will be treated as a return. Restocking fees may apply for cancellations.
Shipping Policy for Returns

Return Shipping: To return your item, please send it to the address provided in the refund approval email. Customers are responsible for return shipping charges, including international returns.

Customs and Taxes: Customers are responsible for any customs duties and taxes associated with the return. When shipping items, please declare a value of under $60 to avoid potential tax fees. Any customs fees incurred will be deducted from the refund amount.

Shipping Details: After shipping your return, please provide us with a tracking number. For items valued over $75, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance.

Accidental Items: Please ensure no additional items are included in your return package, as Decorillum is not responsible for returning these to you.

Shipping Costs: Customers are responsible for their own return shipping costs. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
Who Pays for Return Shipping
If your return is due to a faulty, damaged, broken, or mis-shipped item, Decorillum will cover the shipping fees. For all other returns, customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
Change of Mind Returns

Change of Mind: We accommodate "Change of Mind" returns within 15 days of receipt, provided the item is unused, in its original packaging, and in resalable condition.

Return Shipping: For "Change of Mind" returns, customers are responsible for return shipping charges and must arrange their own shipping.

Refunds: Decorillum will refund the value of the returned goods, excluding original shipping costs.
Refund Processing

Processing Time: Upon receipt of your returned item, we will process your refund within 2 business days through your original payment method.

Notification: You will receive an email once your return has been received, detailing the approval status of your refund. Approved refunds are processed within 1 - 3 business days.

Refund Status: Please note that original shipping fees and insurance are non-refundable. If you do not see your refund within 7 business days, please check with your bank or credit card issuer. If the issue persists, contact us for further assistance.

Partial Refunds: Partial refunds may be granted if the item’s packaging has been opened, items are not in their original condition, are damaged or missing parts due to customer error, or were purchased on special discount or final sale.
This Return & Refund Policy is part of our general Terms and Conditions of Sale and should be read alongside them. In case of a conflict between this Policy and the Terms and Conditions, the provisions of this Policy will prevail.
